Our most recent lab for Food Art was to take a novelty cake pan, bake a cake and to decorate it following the instructions.
This was the only time we ever used a cake mix! We got to choose between chocolate and vanilla, we choose chocolate because for our second cake design, it would be easier if we use vanilla. It's really easy to follow but let's just say that it wasn't the best cake I ever had and surprisingly it was the worst either.
The cake pan my group choose as you can see here is the guitar pan (they're from Wiltons)
We put too much flour on our pan! But at least we know next time not to put too much!
Our cake turned out pretty nice until we got to the guitar strings >.<
The icing kept breaking as we did the lines!
